Now that spring has arrived in New Delhi, streets and parks here are adorned with fully blossomed Palash trees; commonly known as flame of the forest or parrot tree.
This tree is native to India & blooms during spring. Traditionally, extract of these red-orange flowers have been used to prepare colored water for the celebration of festival of colors, Holi. Although Holi is over these pretty flowers are still coloring the street of New Delhi. Enjoy this collection of images I have captured in last couple of days.
